Question

Do you update your practice exams for each sitting?

The Law Society materials change between cycles. Are your questions rewritten to match or am I going to be practising on last year's law?

Not sure if this is duplicate post but I asked the same thing and pasting their email here for visability:

"Yes β€” we update our practice exams for each licensing cycle.

We have a dedicated team that monitors changes to Ontario laws and regulations, as well as any publicly available updates to the LSO’s Barrister and Solicitor competencies and licensing materials. When something changes that affects a tested area, we review the relevant questions and update or replace them as needed.

So, for the current 2026–2027 licensing cycle, our questions are reviewed against the current cycle rather than simply carrying forward last year’s law unchanged.

We also continue monitoring for relevant updates throughout the cycle so the question banks remain aligned as closely as possible with the law and publicly available LSO guidance candidates are expected to know."

Had not even considered this as a thing to check. Noted for anything else I buy.
