Ok im not sure exactly what you mean by digital because its a paper exam. but i built mine in a spreadsheet, printed it, used the printed one. best of both.

editing on paper is miserable and editing digitally is instant, so you want the building to be digital. searching a screen under time is slower than a thumb on a tab, so you want the using to be paper. print it once you stop changing it, which for me was about two weeks out.

omg sorry idk how to edit my post but exactly, this answers it. I was wondering if everyone was using a word doc or using something like excel which I called digital

paper the whole way. i am aware this makes me a caveman

spreadsheet gang. being able to sort by page number at the end and catch everything i had put in the wrong place was worth it on its own

One thing on the print version. Print it at least a week before, not the night before. Mine came out with the columns wrapped in a way that made half of it unreadable and I did not have time to fix it properly.

Whatever you pick just stop researching it. I lost most of a weekend to comparing methods and produced zero index. The method is not the hard part

spent a whole evening on this exact question last week and produced nothing. this thread has saved someone two hours, possibly me
