Question

How early should you arrive for the Ontario bar exam?

Three months out and I am already planning the morning, which probably tells you everything about how I am handling this.

Official guidance says one thing. What did people actually do. I am a chronic over-arriver and I am trying to work out whether standing outside for an hour is going to settle me or wind me up.

Early enough that a delayed train does not end your day, and not one minute earlier than that.

The extra hour is not calm time. It is an hour in a room full of people who are all quietly panicking, and it is contagious.

I got there 45 minutes early, sat in a coffee shop two streets away for 25 of them, then walked over. Best decision I made all day. You get the safety margin without the queue.

Nothing wrong with asking now, but actually put this out of your head until late October. Logistics are a one evening job. The thing that decides November is what you do in the next eight weeks, and it is not your travel plan.
