unpopular opinion, the schedule everyone recommends here is too aggressive
every thread is six hours a day, full timed exams from week one, index done by september.
i passed solicitor in june doing considerably less than that and i think the maximalist advice puts people off starting at all. it also selects for people who had no job, which is not most of us.
not saying do nothing. saying the floor is a lot lower than this board makes it sound.

Disagreeing slightly. The advice here skews hard because the people posting in August are disproportionately the anxious ones, and telling an anxious person the floor is low does not calm them, it gives them permission to keep not starting.
Both things can be true. The floor is lower than it sounds and most people reading this in a panic at midnight are not the ones who need to hear it.
