Is anyone else finding the solicitor material much heavier than the barrister material
Maybe it is just me but barrister felt like reading and solicitor feels like memorising steps and numbers. Real estate and business especially.
With barrister I could reason my way through a question I had not seen before. With solicitor I either know the procedure or I do not.

Sat both in June and yes. Barrister pays you for holding a framework, solicitor pays you for knowing a sequence. Different kind of tired by the evening.
solicitor is where my index stopped being a nice extra and became the whole plan tbh
Other way round for me? barrister public law nearly finished me off. probably just depends what you did in law school
fair, I did zero business law so that tracks
Solicitor rewards a second pass far more than barrister does. First time through real estate I retained almost nothing and assumed I was in trouble. Second pass it went in over about four days.
